External, penetrating and rising damp 

Working with many clients across Sheerness and other areas of Kent, we've found that the most common issues reported relate to rising damp, penetrating damp and condensation. 

Rising damp is caused by ground water rising up through the bricks and mortar by capillary action. It often occurs when there is no damp proof course, or where the damp proof course has been bridged or damaged.
